Meet Tim
I’m a Financial Advisor with Members’ Wealth, helping individuals and families navigate the financial complexity that often comes with success and life’s major transitions.
Many of the people I work with are approaching retirement, selling a business, receiving an inheritance, navigating divorce, or simply recognizing that their financial lives have become more complex. I believe the best financial decisions begin with understanding what matters most to the people making them.
My interest in the psychology of money has shaped how I approach financial planning. I hold a Certificate in Positive Psychology from the Whole Being Institute, and I’m fascinated by how our experiences, values, and beliefs influence financial decisions.
Living in Santa Barbara has also shaped my practice. I often work with individuals and families whose financial lives extend beyond investments to include real estate, retirement, tax considerations, estate planning, and business interests. My role is to help coordinate these moving pieces while collaborating, when appropriate, with other professionals involved in their planning.
At Members’ Wealth, I serve as my clients’ primary advisor while drawing on the expertise of our firm’s CFP®, CFA®, and JD professionals when specialized planning is appropriate.
Outside of work, you’ll usually find me surfing, cycling, practicing yoga, hiking, or spending time with my daughter.

Understanding the Person Behind the Plan
Financial decisions aren't made on spreadsheets alone. Experiences, values, priorities and beliefs can all influence how someone thinks about money, particularly during periods of significant change.
Tim’s interest in the psychology of money informs how he approaches financial planning. He starts by understanding what matters to each client, then helps them evaluate the financial decisions and tradeoffs involved in moving toward their goals.
For clients whose financial lives span investments, taxes, estate planning, risk, real estate and business interests, Tim also helps coordinate the different pieces and professionals involved.
At Members’ Wealth, this broader perspective is supported by Wealth Done R.I.T.E.™: Risk, Investment, Tax and Estate, and the Four-Person Service Team, bringing together CFP®, CFA®, JD and Client Concierge perspectives.
