The R.I.T.E. Path: A New Beginning

Rite-Path.jpg

After three and a half years, we’re taking a new path.

My Weekender posts and our team’s Thursday articles are coming together under one blog: The R.I.T.E Path. Different voices, one coordinated effort, grounded in our simple mantra: Meet people. Help people. Change lives.

The feedback has been helpful. Some people like how I write. Others don’t.

We took those people off the list.

Kidding.

What we’ve heard most is that you appreciate hearing from different people, on different topics—and you appreciate when we sound like ourselves.

So each Monday, you’ll hear from someone on our team, on topics and questions that matter to you, not just how we help you answer them.

When Makeda, our marketing associate, and Stephanie, our growth officer, suggested the name, "the RITE Path", I needed a little time to make sense of it.

I advocate for change and growth. Apparently, I’m more enthusiastic when the change is my idea.

But I didn’t hire thoughtful people to ignore their thinking. And one of our core values is Better Every Day. They had read the posts, studied the market, and listened to your feedback. It was my turn to listen.

Then the word path started to settle in.

I thought of Robert Frost’s The Road Not Taken. With Samantha now at Middlebury, where Frost has deep connections, I’ve probably given her enough Frost books to stock a small shelf. Add my love of hiking and wanderlust, and the name began to feel personal.

Stephanie also made an important point: The R.I.T.E Path doesn’t mean there’s one right path for everyone.

That hit home.

Our work is to help you connect your financial decisions with the life you want to live—and choose your own way forward.

We’ll still use AI to improve how we work, but we want our people to continue doing the thinking, sharing their experiences, and sounding like themselves. I also have a sneaking suspicion you’ll be seeing more of us on video soon - live authenticity!

Welcome to The R.I.T.E Path. Tell us what you’d like us to explore.

And enjoy the journey.
